This page explains how to delete your Stack AI account and data in the app and on the website (developer: Stack AI), what gets deleted, and what we have to keep.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Stack AI and sign in.
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Tap Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately and you’re signed out. A subscription bought on our website is cancelled right away, so you won’t be charged again.
Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play? Deleting your account doesn’t cancel that subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions.
Delete your account without the app
Email support@joinstack.co from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Stack AI account”. We’ll confirm it’s you, reply within 7 days, and complete the deletion within 30 days. Ask in the same email if you want a copy of your data first.
Delete some data and keep your account
- Deals, tasks and leads: delete them in the Dashboard, Deals or Schedule tabs. Deleting a deal also removes its calendar events.
- Words in a transcript: edit or cut them in the editor.
- Videos and edits: in the Editor, open History and delete any video. Its upload, exports, transcript and captions are deleted right away.
- Instagram or TikTok: disconnect in Settings > Connected accounts. The connection, token, scheduled posts, rules and activity are deleted. Removing Stack AI in Instagram (Settings > Apps and websites) or TikTok does the same.
- Google Calendar connection: disconnect in Settings > Connected accounts or Schedule > Google Calendar. We revoke and delete the token immediately.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email, password and settings
- Deals, deliverables, schedule, tasks, pipeline leads and applications
- Every video and audio file you uploaded, every export, and their transcripts and captions
- Your Instagram, TikTok and Google Calendar connections and tokens, scheduled posts, rules and activity
- Usage history, your referral link and referral records, and cancellation feedback
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and tax records (invoices, amounts, dates): kept by our payment processor Stripe, or by Apple or Google for app-store purchases, and by us only where tax or accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years.
- Backups: deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until they’re overwritten, within 35 days.
- Security logs: up to 90 days, then deleted.
- Aggregated statistics that don’t identify you.
